Matters of attention when ordering products:

1. When ordering products, pay attention to the name, specifications, model, performance parameters (air volume, air pressure, power, speed) of the blower;

2. Unless otherwise specified, the voltage of all the blowers in the sample are 380V; if you have special request, please specify them when ordering;

3. Indicate whether the blower has electric control box, flange (round flange), shock absorber (hanging or floor type), rain louvers, elbows, insect nets, soft joints, mufflers, silencer box and other accessories;

4. Provide us with the installation location, application environmental characteristics, frequency of use and other information, so that we can provide more rational, more optimized supporting products;

5. For cabinet blowers (air boxes), it is necessary to mark the outlet position, and whether the motor is internal or external;

6. When ordering centrifugal blowers, please indicate the transmission mode, the direction of rotation, the exit angle, and whether they are provided with shock absorbers or damping pedestals (generally, the C, D, and E types should have them);

7. The muffler plenum chamber must be provided with a sketch; the fire dampers and leafy outlets must be indicated with “normally open”, or “normally closed” and actually needed functions; for the louvers, please specify the blade shape or function;

8. For blowers and valves, the flange sizes of outlets are of the galvanized sheet duct design; if composite materials such as glass fiber and magnesium are used and the duct has special requirements for the flange interfaces, please specify them;

9. The company has been committed to the improvement and optimization of products. The product specifications, parameters and sizes in the sample are subject to change without notice.

Notices: the manufacturing standard of the products is executed according to the latest performance parameters, installation size, and structure type of the sample. For other requests, please specify when ordering.

Instructions for Use

 I. Special Notes

1. The blower housing or the grounding of the blower housing must be reliable. It is prohibited to rotate in the opposite direction, or operate above the rated current, or run in the open-phase state;

2. The supplementing oil times of the blower bearings should not be less than 1,000 hours/times. It is prohibited to maintain the blower in operation.

 II. Receipt inspection and preparation prior to installation

1. Before unpacking the blower, check whether the package is intact the packaging is intact, the blower nameplate parameters to meet the requirements, each comes with complete accessories are complete.

2. Carefully check whether the blower has any deformation or damage during transport, and whether the fasteners are loose or fall off, and whether the impellers are braised or bumped, and check the parts of the blower. If any abnormality is found, please wait till it is repaired before use.

3. Measure the insulation resistance between the blower housing and the motor windings with a 500V megger; the value should be greater than 0.5 megohms; otherwise, it is necessary to dry the windings of the blower; the drying temperature must not exceed 120℃.

4. Prepare the materials, tools and sites necessary for the installation of the blower.

 III. Installation

1. Get comprehensive knowledge about the sample of blowers, and learn about the specifications, type, impeller rotation direction, and air flow direction; prior to installing the blower, check whether the impellers have any frictions or collisions, and conduct a comprehensive inspection on all parts, to check whether the accessories are complete, and whether each part is tightly connected. Carefully check whether the blower blades are damaged or deformed due to transportation; otherwise, please wait till it is repaired before installation.

2. The duct connecting the import and export of the blower should have separate support. It is not allowed to impose the weight of the pipe on the blower unit; pay attention to the horizontal position of the blower during installation. Adjust the coupling of the blower and the foundation as well as the joint of the outlet duct, to achieve a natural fit. Do not connect them forcefully.

3. After the blower is installed, move the blades with hand or a lever, to see if there is any over-tightness or collision, and whether there is any objects obtruding the rotation. Do not start commissioning before everything is normal. The exposed part of the gear of the blower should a protective cover (user-supplied). If the inlet of the blower is not connected to a pipe, it is also need to install a protective net or other safety devices (user-supplied).

4. The blower wiring must be correct and reliable; the blower housing should be properly grounded; the grounding must be reliable. The power supply for the blower must be complete and comply with the relevant requirements. The blower wiring must be carried out by electricians with expertise in electrical wiring.

5. After the blower is completely installed, check whether there are any tools or debris left in it.


1. The blower allows full pressure start or step-down start, but it should be noted that the current during full voltage starting is about 5-7 times the rated current; the torque in voltage starting is proportional to the square of the voltage; when the grid capacity is insufficient, it is necessary to adopt the step-down start. (When the power is greater than 11kW, adopt the step-down start.)

2. During the trial running of the blower, please carefully read the product manual, check whether the wiring method is consistent with the wiring diagram; carefully check whether the operating voltage of the blower power supply comply with requirements, whether the power is open-phase or same-phase, and whether the capacity of the electrical components meets the requirements.

3. The number of people should not be less than two during the trial; one person control the power, and the other observes the running of the blower. If any anomalies are found, immediately stop it for checking; first, check whether the direction of rotation is correct; after the blower starts running, you should immediately check whether the operating current of each phase is balanced, and whether the current exceeds the rated current; if any abnormalities are found, stop the machine for checking. Five minutes after the operation, stop the blower to check whether there are anomalies. After confirming that there is no anomalies, reboot it for operation.

4. During the two-speed blower test, start the low speed first, and check whether the direction of rotation is correct; during starting high-speed start, wait till the blower gets stationary before restarting, to avoid high-speed reverse rotation, which can cause the switch to trip and electrical damages.

5. When the blower reaches the normal speed, measure whether the input current of the blower is normal. The operating current of the blower should not exceed the rated current. If the operation current exceeds the rated current, check whether the power supply voltage is normal.

6. The motor power required by the blower means that under certain work conditions, the centrifugal blower and the blower box require larger power when the air inlet is fully open. If the inlet is fully open during operation, the motor has a risk of damage. During the trial run of the blower, it is best to turn off the valve on the inlet or outlet of the duct. After the operation, gradually open the valve, until the desired condition is reached, and at the same time, pay attention to whether the operating current of the blower has exceeded the rated current.

Maintenance and storage

1. The use environment of the blower should be kept clean and tidy; the surface should be kept clean; the outlet and inlet should be free of debris. Regularly remove the dust and debris inside the blower and the pipes.

2. Do not start the blower unless it is completely normal, and ensure the capacity of the power supply facilities is sufficient and the voltage is stable. It is strictly forbidden to run in the open-phase condition. The power supply wires must be the dedicated wires. It is not allowed to use temporary power supply on a long-term basis.

3. During the blower operation, if the blower gives off abnormal sounds, the motor is severely hot, the casing is electrified, the switch trips out, or the machine cannot start, immediately stop it for checking. To ensure safety, it is forbidden to carry out maintenance while the blower is running. After maintenance, conduct commissioning for five minutes or so, and then reboot it after confirming that there are no anomalies.

4. Supplement or replace the bearing grease (sealed bearings in the motor do not need replacing grease during the service life) from time to time according to the environmental conditions. In order to ensure good lubrication for the blower during operation, the supplementing oil times should not be less than 1,000 hours/times. For closed bearings and motor bearings, use ZL-3 lithium base grease to fill 2/3 of the inner and outer rings of the bearing for supplementing oil. It is strictly prohibited to have the blower run without oil.

5. The blower should be stored in a dry environment to prevent the motor from dampness. Blowers in the open storage should be protected against rains. In the storage and handling process, prevent the blower from bumping and being damaged.

Maintenance instructions

(A) Maintenance instructions

1. The blower must be used and maintained by dedicated persons.

2. The blower should not run when being in abnormal conditions.

3. Regularly clean the dust inside the blower, especially the dust, dirt and other impurities on the impeller, to prevent rust or imbalance.

4. For blower maintenance, it first thing to be emphasized is to shut off the power and stop the machine.

5. Regularly check the sensitivity of the thermometer and the oil scale.

6. In addition to replacing the oil each time after dismantling, under normal circumstances, the oil should be replaced every 3-6 months.

(B) The main causes of failures

1. Bearing box rattling

① The blower shaft and the motor shaft are eccentric; the coupling is installed crookedly.

② The blower casing or the inlet has frictions with the impeller.

③ The stiffness of the foundation is not solid.

④ The impeller rivets are loose, or the impeller deforms.

⑤ The bolt between the reel of the impeller and the shaft are loose, or the coupling bolt is loose.

⑥ The coupling bolts between the casing and the frame, the bearing housing and the bracket, and the bearing box cover and the seat are loose.

⑦ The inlet and outlet ducts of the blower are not properly installed.

⑧ The rotor is imbalanced; the blower blades are worn.

2. The bearing temperature is too high

① Bearing box is rattling violently.

② The lubricant is not bright, deteriorated, contains too much dust, sticky sands, dirt or other impurities.

③ The bearing cover and the seat bolts are screwed too tightly or too loosely.

④ The shaft and the rolling bearing are installed crookedly; the front and rear bearings are eccentric.

⑤ The rolling bearing is damaged.

3. Overcurrent or over-high temperature of the electrode

① when starting, the intake pipe valve or the throttle is not closed tight

② The traffic exceeds the specified value.

③ The density of the blower conveying gas is too high, or there are sticky substances.

④ The motor input voltage is too low, or the power supply has a single-phase power failure.

⑤ The coupling is not correctly connected, the apron is too tight or the gap is uneven.

⑥ It may be affected by the severe vibration of the bearing box.

Daily Care and Maintenance

1. The blades should be cleaned periodically every six months to extend the service life of the blower;

2. The belt tension should be adjusted regularly every three months;

3. The inlet mesh of the blower should be kept free of obstacles;

4. The outlet should ensure the opening of the louver is over 70%;

5. The continuous use should not be more than 8-10 hours;

6. It is best to use a magnetic button switch as the blower switch, to prevent bad contact from burning the motor;

7. The blower motor should be kept clean and protected against water.
